ANFAJE – National Association of Efficient Windows Manufacturers, represents the manufacturers of efficient windows at a national level (windows that, due to their technical characteristics, contribute to the reinforcement of the thermal and acoustic insulation of buildings).
Once again, F2J is present in newsletter number 28, under the theme “Energy poverty: why is Portugal still dying of cold?
This issue focuses on the construction of the “Collective housing” building, a project characterized by balancing architectural forms, transforming them into an emblematic complex with a strong urban presence. This building stands out for the contrast between the lower part of the facade, which establishes a direct relationship with the public space, since it is located on a hill and has open visibility. The aluminum system with thermal break used, avoids the contact between the internal face and the external face of the window frames, which allows to obtain good performances in thermal and acoustic insulation.
With a touch of refinement and an enhanced aesthetic sense, the skylights manufactured by F2J provide perfect diffusion and transmission of sunlight for those looking for innovation in the construction of a home. They lead to significant reductions in the consumption of electricity, and are also, in many cases, a means of ventilation.

The emphasis is placed on the frame of this building due to the size of its skylight, since it is about 16m long and each glass is about 5.3m wide, carrying a weight of 300 kg.
The use of this type of façade system responds to the different aesthetic and constructive needs of architectural projects when the desired effect is the low visibility of aluminum.
