ANFAJE – National Association of Efficient Windows Manufacturers, represents the manufacturers of efficient windows at a national level (windows that, due to their technical characteristics, contribute to the reinforcement of the thermal and acoustic insulation of buildings).
Once again, F2J is present in newsletter number 29, under the theme “Recovery and resilience plan opens new windows of opportunity for the sector”

This issue focuses on the framing of another hotel, this time in Matosinhos, near the airport, with 127 rooms all with white PVC window frames, which adapt perfectly to this architectural style and will last in time. This type of material is ideal for hotels and collective housing, as it guarantees better thermal and acoustic performance, in addition to being easy to clean and also low maintenance required, since it has great resistance to corrosion in the face of bad weather. As in hotels, energy consumption is an important component of operating costs, PVC has been a recurrent investment in reducing these costs.

The Elegant series is highlighted here, a new concept of straight lines to meet the needs of contemporary aesthetics, due to its great thermal and acoustic attribute. The main novelty in this series is the movable rim, which does not use any type of reinforcement. The fiberglass at the ends gives the profile robustness and significant inertia and allows for higher thermal coefficients to be achieved compared to the traditional profile with steel reinforcement.

In an era in which the ecological footprint is one of the main themes, hotels also intend to reduce their footprint, choosing to prefer PVC, as it is a 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly material.
